Mr. Cheng Chih Ting, Director, Taiwan Trade Center, Inc. At the seminar, speakers updated trends and development potential in the smart mobility industry.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Tony Meng, Vietnam Country Manager of Delta Electronics, shared insights on the "Global trends in electric vehicle charging”. Mr. Tony Meng emphasized that with the significant rise in the popularity of electric vehicles and intelligent transportation systems, Vietnam is one of the promising markets.
"Vietnam is witnessing a substantial growth in smart mobility solutions. The number of electric vehicles and intelligent transportation systems is increasingly favored and widely adopted. Looking to the future, it is expected that the smart mobility industry in Vietnam will continue to grow strongly due to government investment and support, increased environmental awareness, and the rising demand for convenient and sustainable mobility solutions," Mr. Tony Meng stated.
Mr. Tran Kien, Deputy General Director of Advantech Vietnam Co., Ltd, provided a profound insight into the synergy between intelligent transportation systems and advanced public transportation systems. Mr. Kien emphasizes the prevalence of smart technology in traffic management, particularly in the context of the increasing prevalence of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
"The use of smart technology to manage transportation infrastructure is becoming increasingly common in various provinces and cities. Mobile applications and real-time monitoring systems are being deployed to improve safety and enhance traffic flow. Alongside this, public transportation projects like smart bus systems, intelligent parking solutions, and enhancements to public transit are being vigorously implemented" - commented Mr Tran Kien.
In particular, at the seminar, TAITRA introduced 2024 exhibitions on new trends and products in the field of smart mobility as TAITRA's commitment to not only accompanying the development of smart mobility industry but also creates a platform for businesses to showcase and share their innovation in a professional and international environment.
These exhibitions will help promote collaboration and exchange of ideas, while enhancing the reputation and presence of the smart mobility industry in the global market.
Accordingly, the “2035 E-Mobility exhibition” held in Taipei will focus on renewable energy and electric vehicle solutions, introducing new vehicle models, advanced battery technology, and innovations in electric vehicle charging; “Taipei AMPA”, the leading exhibition for the automobile and motorcycle industry, will showcase the latest trends in automotive design, safety technology, and achievements in autonomous vehicle development; “AutoTronics Taipei”, one of the leading exhibitions for automobile and motorcycle technology, will focus on IoT (Internet of Things) solutions and smart technology in the mobility industry.
