Oktoberfest Vietnam 2022: Exciting and passionate beer festival
WVR - On October 6th, the opening event of Oktoberfest Vietnam 2022, one of cultural exchange activities between Vietnam and Germany, attracted more than 1,400 guests.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Oktoberfest Vietnam 2022, Mr. Erwin Popov, General Manager of Hanoi Daewoo Hotel said: “German beer festival Oktoberfest, which has been existed for more than 200 years, is one of the biggest festivals in the world. For the first time, Oktoberfest 2022 has been held at Hanoi Daewoo Hotel, not only recreating the original Oktoberfest with the vibrant and typical atmosphere of the German beer festival, but also including a hearty buffet with special guests in colorful Bavarian folk costumes”.
The festival was kicked off with the traditional ritual “beating of beer barrels” as the participants opened the first beer barrel and carried a 25m long sausage tree.

The festival also impressed with Asian dishes prepared on the spot such as hot whole veal mixed with German beer.

Oktoberfest Vietnam 2022 took place in 3 days, from October 6-8.
Oktoberfest (Germany) has been started on October 12, 1810. Up to now, this festival has taken place regularly and considered the largest festival in Germany, being held from the end of September to the beginning of October every year. The atmosphere of the festival has been spread to many places, therefore, undergone various versions in many countries, including Vietnam.
