Jordanian King to pay official visit to Vietnam next week

At the invitation of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong, the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein will pay an official visit to Vietnam from November 12-13, 2025.
The visit takes place as Vietnam and Jordan continue to foster positive relations. Vietnam and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan established diplomatic relations on August 9, 1980. The Jordanian Embassy in Singapore is accredited to Vietnam, while the Vietnamese Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is accredited to Jordan.
In 2024, bilateral trade reached 188.138 million USD, with Vietnam exporting 180.526 million USD, primarily agricultural and aquatic products, electronic goods and components, fabrics, chemical products, wood products, plastics, equipment, tools, and spare parts. Key imports include textiles, fertilizers, and chemicals.
Regarding investment, as of the end of September 2025, Jordan has five active investment projects in Vietnam with a total registered capital of 1 million USD, ranking 108th out of 153 countries and territories investing in Vietnam. Currently, there are no Vietnamese investment projects in Jordan.
The two countries regularly support each other in regional and international forums.
