At the event, representatives from the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps reiterated the extensive damages typhoon No. 3 (Yagi) inflicted on northern provinces of Vietnam. Responding to calls from the Party and State leaders, as well as the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, authorities at all levels and people across the nation have shown a spirit of unity and compassion, standing alongside the northern provinces to aid citizens in stabilizing production and daily life.
In addition, Vietnam has received timely material and moral support from many countries, international organizations, and friends, including foreign diplomatic missions in Vietnam.
Representatives from the Department also emphasized that the International Food Festival, organized annually in collaboration with embassies and international organizations in Vietnam, is one of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ prominent cultural, food, and charitable events. Attended by Ambassadors, their spouses, representatives from international organizations, and various provinces and cities across the country, the event provides a valuable platform for cultural exchange and culinary connection between nations and Vietnam. It is also an opportunity for Vietnam to showcase the beauty of its land, people, and regional characteristics to international friends while promoting meaningful charitable activities.
On this occasion, representatives from the International Food Festival came to the Fatherland Front Committee of Trang Tien ward, Hanoi, to extend their support to the community in addressing typhoon-induced damages.
Expressing gratitude for the support from countries and international organizations for the typhoon-affected areas, Trang Tien ward leaders affirmed that the material contributions from these international partners would be directed effectively by the local Party committees and authorities to help residents recover, resume production, and stabilize their lives.
