Hidden in the mist are the impressive and unique rammed earth houses of the Mong people with more than 70 unique ones that are still intact. These are houses with unique traditional architecture that have been passed down for generations. After hundreds of years, although the walls are covered with moss, these houses still stand tall between heaven and earth, enduring the test of time, bearing the cultural imprint of the Mong people here.

While wandering on the trails in the village, through the winding roads, along the mountainside from one village to another, visitors can admire the corn fields, the terraced fields in the golden rice season, beautiful as a picture. At dawn and dusk, when the temperature drops, mist and clouds cover the mountains and forests, creating a magical scene. Feeling lost in a beautiful sea of floating clouds.

About 4km from the centre of Hong Ngai Commune, A Phu Cave is the most prominent destination that you cannot miss. This is a place that not only has historical value but also cultural value, inspiring many writers, poets, and musicians to compose novels and love songs imbued with the Mong ethnic identity of Bac Yen District.

A Phu Cave is also called Tham Cop Cave, which in Thai ethnicity language means Frog, because the eastern side of the cave looks like the mouth of a frog catching its prey. The cave is located in a mountain range, surrounded by primaeval forest. In front of the cave is a vast green field. Inside the cave, you can easily find round pebbles, black rock slabs with artistic patterns that shine like gold, or sparkling stalactites. Under the cave floor is a stream flowing along the cave from West to East, the water is clear and cool. It is truly a unique and majestic natural picture.
