"We congratulate the winner, University of Languages and International Studies and the other two finalists for showing excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills in their projects to help people in need and vulnerable communities.”, said Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia.

"Sponsoring this reality show is a part of our strong commitment to nourishing the health and well-being of people and communities through support for the young generation to learn essential knowledge and skills to pursue their dreams," Mr. Thang added.

Besides having a strong community support element in their projects, all the three finalists also incorporated the latest Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology into their action plans. This helped them better visualize their ideas and identify new approaches to solving social problems.

The winner, University of Languages and International Studies presented Sign by sign, a comprehensive sign language tool designed to facilitate communication for individuals with hearing impairments through converting sign language into text or speech. This enabled a more accessible and effective means of communication between users and their listeners.

As the champion, the team from University of Languages and International Studies won 200,000,000 VND (200 million VND) and the Most favorable team award prize of 50,000,000 VND (50 million VND) from Herbalife Vietnam.

Aloi was an environmentally friendly project from finalist, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. It introduced a food wrap made from aloe vera as a safe and natural solution for food preservation to replace traditional plastic and help reduce plastic waste.

The Tell me project, developed by the other finalist Hanoi Medical University, was a psychological online counseling platform to support the patients' families. This innovative initiative aimed to improve the mental health of caregivers who frequently experience heightened stress and anxiety while caring for their loved ones during treatment.

The Students of new generation 2024 competition attracted over 200 submissions from thousands of students across 50 universities nationwide. Students were excited to learn and compete in various skills and competencies, including teamwork, leadership, presentation, project management, and creativity.

The three finalists participated in four challenging rounds of competition: delivering their project summary reports, presenting a team counterargument, making a call for investment, and showcasing their identity as the new generation of students.
