Governor-General of Australia to pay State visit to Vietnam
WVR - The Governor-General of Australia, David Hurley, will pay a State visit to Vietnam from April 3 to 6, the Foreign Ministry announced on March 30, 2023.

The visit is made at the invitation of President Vo Van Thuong.
This year, Vietnam and Australia celebrate 50 years of establishing diplomatic relations (1973-2023) and 5 years of strategic partnership (2017-2023). Governor-General of Australia David Hurleys is expected to attend a number of events commemorating this important milestone in Vietnam-Australia bilateral ties.
