The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Program is a unique Fulbright Scholar Program that is driven by the goals of U.S. institutions of higher education to enhance cross-cultural understanding on their campuses.
Through the Scholar-in-Residence Program, U.S. institutions host a scholar from outside of the United States to teach courses, assist in curriculum development, guest lecture in their area of expertise, develop study abroad/exchange partnerships and engage with the campus and within the local community.
The Scholar-in-Residence works across departments and curricula to enhance or expand existing international programs, develop new world area studies programs, add an international dimension to existing coursework or provide an opportunity for U.S. students to learn about a particular world region or country.
One qualified candidate will be placed at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts for the full academic year 2023-2024.
In the Fall and Spring, the Scholar will co-teach a experiential production course entitled Game Studio along with an instructor with significant previous experience.
In the Spring, the Scholar-in-Residence would also teach an advanced topics colloquium on international interactive media development.
