The exhibition, spanning 2,500 sq.m, features a dynamic array of panels, drawings, documents, films, images, and artifacts. With modern technologies such as 3D presentations and AI, the showcase offers a comprehensive view of Hanoi’s transformation and vision for the future as a modern, thriving capital.

The seven-day event celebrates the city’s rich history while emphasizing its resilience in post-war recovery and ongoing efforts to build a “civilized and modern” capital.

The exhibition is categorized into five thematic sections, including Hanoi before 1954; the capital city during the cause of socialist construction and resistance war against the US (1954-1975); Hanoi during national reunification and economic reform period (1975-2008); Hanoi’s rapid expansion since 2008, and the city’s development vision for 2030-2050.
