Exhibition 'Communist Party of Vietnam – From Congress to Congress': A reminder to uphold faith and ignite aspirations

WVR - On the afternoon of December 26, the Office of the Party Central Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, inaugurated the exhibition "Communist Party of Vietnam - From Congress to Congress" in looking forward to the 14th National Congress.

The exhibition "Communist Party of Vietnam – From Congress to Congress" opened with the attendance of General Secretary To Lam; Politburo member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; members of the Politburo, Secretariat; leaders from various central and local departments, ministries, and organizations; representatives from universities, research institutes, and a large number of students.

In his opening remarks, Pham Gia Tuc, member of the Central Committee of the Party and Chief of the Office of the Central Committee, emphasized that the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam in February 1930 by leader Nguyễn Ái Quốc was a monumental turning point in the nation's history. It ended the crisis of national salvation strategies and ushered in a period of struggle for national independence through the proletarian revolution. Under the Party's wise leadership, the Vietnamese revolution overcame immense challenges, liberated the nation, unified the country, and built and defended the socialist homeland.

Since its inception, the Communist Party of Vietnam has undergone 13 Congresses and is now heading towards the 14th National Congress with the theme: "Under the glorious flag of the Party, united and determined to successfully achieve the national development goals by 2030; strategic autonomy, resilience, confidence, advancing strongly in the era of national resurgence, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadfastly advancing towards socialism".

Phạm Gia Túc highly appreciated the National Archives and History Museum for their efforts in collecting, researching, and organizing the exhibition, contributing to the respect and preservation of the Party's historical values.

General Secretary Tô Lâm, along with Party and State leaders, cut the ribbon to inaugurate the exhibition and toured the display area. In the guestbook, the General Secretary expressed his emotion and pride in the vivid materials, images, and artifacts that depict the journey of the Party's formation and development, from the early challenging days of the struggle for independence to today's efforts in building, defending, and developing the nation.

The General Secretary emphasized that the Communist Party of Vietnam has always been the pioneering force, the banner of the working class, laborers, and progressive forces worldwide, steadfast in revolutionary ideals, continually renewing itself, and worthy of its mission to lead the country. The exhibition serves as a sacred reminder to uphold faith, ignite aspirations, and propel the nation towards strength, prosperity, happiness, and eternal existence.

The exhibition is divided into three parts: The Founding of the Party – The Origin of National Destiny Change; Party Congresses and Historical Turning Points; Towards the 14th National Party Congress – Aspiration for Development, Vision for the Future. The event showcases over 200 valuable documents, images, and artifacts, many of which are being displayed for the first time, helping officials, Party members, and the public, especially the younger generation, to gain deeper insights into the Party Congresses and the nation's great achievements under the Party's leadership, thereby enhancing pride, trust, and attachment to the Party's noble ideals.

The exhibition also conveys the faith and aspirations of the entire Party, people, and army in the new era, aiming towards the 14th Congress, striving to make Vietnam a developed, high-income nation following the socialist orientation by the mid-21st century.
