Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son highly appreciated the research outcomes, recognizing the intellect, dedication, and patriotic spirit of the Vietnamese scientific diaspora toward the nation's development.
He emphasized that Vietnam must catch up with the wave of the Fourth Industrial Revolution through new approaches and innovative thinking to avoid falling behind and to successfully achieve its development targets for 2030 and 2045.
To support this vision, Vietnam is undertaking a comprehensive restructuring of its political system from central to local levels, while advancing four key pillars: science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation (Resolution 57); international integration (Resolution 59); legal reform and enforcement (Resolution 66); and private sector development (Resolution 68). The country is also focusing on drafting the Political Report and the 2026-2031 Socio-Economic Development Plan to be presented at the 14th National Party Congress.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed hope that the global Vietnamese intellectual community would unite, harness national pride, and contribute to the country’s growth through concrete initiatives and projects, helping Vietnam stand shoulder to shoulder with global powers.
