Deputy FM Dang Hoang Giang works with Ambassadors of Morocco, Switzerland, Senegal in Hanoi

WVR - Deputy Foreign Minister Dang Hoang Giang said he hopes National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man's upcoming trip will achieve substantive results, especially in trade, investment, agriculture, sustainable development, and innovation, and create a premise to deepen bilateral relations between Vietnam and the three countries.

Deputy Foreign Minister Dang Hoang Giang received Ambassadors of Morocco and Switzerland to Vietnam, Jamale Chouaibi and Thomas Gass, and held a phone conversation with Ambassador of Senegal to Malaysia and Vietnam Abdoulaye Barro, on July 18, 2025.

Deputy Foreign Minister Giang affirmed that the top legislator’s working trip demonstrates Vietnam's respect for the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), as well as the traditional cooperative relations with Senegal, Morocco, and Switzerland, which are members of the Francophonie Community.

Deputy Foreign Minister Giang said he hopes the trip will achieve substantive results, especially in trade, investment, agriculture, sustainable development, and innovation, and create a premise to deepen bilateral relations between Vietnam and the three countries. These efforts will bring practical benefits to each country and contribute to peace, stability, and development in the region and globally.

He called on the Ambassadors to continue to promote and closely coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, NA agencies, and other relevant ministries and sectors to ensure the success of the visit.

Sharing Deputy Foreign Minister Giang's views, the Ambassadors affirmed that Senegal, Morocco, and Switzerland attach importance to the Vietnamese top legislator’s working trip.

They expressed their belief that the visit will mark a new milestone in relations between Vietnam and the countries, and open up new cooperation opportunities, contributing to promoting exchanges between their localities.

The Ambassadors agreed to continue closely coordinating with Vietnamese agencies and units to carefully prepare for and ensure the success of the trip.
