It is the first time in Vietnamese cycling a race has been held in multiple countries.
Cyclists will pedal through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia in the upcoming Nam Ky Khoi Nghia cycling tournament. |
The event begins on December 10 in Ho Chi Minh City.
Cyclists will compete in 12 stages over a total length of nearly 1,750km, through the provinces of Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc (Viet Nam); Kratie, Stung Treng (Cambodia); Champasak, Sekong, Attapeu (Laos); KonTum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and then return to HCM City.
The race has belonged to the national competition system since 2009.
It will run until December 22.
