Congratulations coming for 13th National Party Congress

The 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, which officially opens in Ha Noi on January 26, receives many messages of congratulations from around the globe. |
They came from political parties and international organisations and friends, who all expressed their friendship and cooperative feelings toward the Party, State and people of Viet Nam, demonstrating their deep interest in the Congress.
As of January 22, the Congress had received 215 congratulatory messages from 105 parties, four regional and international organisations, 76 friendship organisations, 15 diplomatic corps and 15 individuals from 79 countries.
The well-wishers included the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Communist Party of China, the Cambodian People's Party, the Communist Party of Cuba and the Workers' Party of Korea of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
In its congratulatory message, the Communist Party of China said that 13th National Congress of the CPV is an important congress as it is associated with the development in all spheres of the Vietnamese Party and State, and is a major event in the political life of the Vietnamese Party and people.
The congress is of significance as it will put forth development targets for the nation, as well as implementation plans to the centennial anniversary of the CPV and the centennial founding anniversary of Viet Nam, opening up a new path to build Viet Nam into a modernised socialist country.
On its part, the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC)’s Central Committee conveyed its warmest greetings to Viet Nam on January 26, saying it wishes the 13th National Congress great success.
“We have complete confidence that the documents and resolutions adopted by the congress will help further consolidate the building of socialism in Viet Nam,” the PCC Central Committee said in its congratulatory message.
Twenty-five messages were from Asian and Oceanian countries, while 33 came from European nations, 31 from Americans, and 11 from the Middle East and Africa.
Meanwhile, 76 messages were from political, friendship and mass organisations, diplomatic missions in Viet Nam, and leaders and former leaders of many countries.
They serve as a source of great encouragement for Viet Nam’s “Doi moi” (Renewal) process initiated and led by the Party, and vivid proof of the deepening friendship between the CPV and political parties, organisations and friends worldwide.
