Vice Rector Nguyen Tuan Khanh said since its establishment in 1977, the public institution is responsible for training inspectors in skills in inspection, citizen reception, complaint settlement, prevention of corruption and negative phenomena, all crucial for the GIV’s State management function.

To date, the college has organised 981 training courses benefiting over 94,800 students, including those from Laos and Cambodia.

Minister Huot Hak thanked the college for its effective and quality training of Cambodian inspection officials, saying that the 270 officials trained at the college constitute a significant human resource for Cambodia. However, he noted that given Cambodia’s actual needs, there is still a shortage of trained personnel. Therefore, he expressed a desire for the college to continue training Cambodian inspection officials in the future.

The same day, the Cambodian delegation paid working visits to the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV). A day earlier, they had visited the military-run telecom provider Viettel.
