Brazilian Ambassador to Vietnam Marco Farani awarded the Friendship Order
WVR - On July 2, under the authorization of General Secretary and President To Lam, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Hoang Giang awarded the Friendship Order to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Brazil to Vietnam Marco Farani.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Hoang Giang congratulated Ambassador Marco Farani on the honour of being awarded the Friendship Order, a prestigious accolade from the State of Vietnam. This award reflects the recognition from the leadership, the State, and the people of Vietnam for the Ambassador's positive and effective contributions in strengthening and developing the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and Brazil. He also highly appreciated the Ambassador's dedication, passion, and persistent efforts throughout his tenure in Vietnam.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that in his role as the Brazilian Ambassador to Vietnam Ambassador Marco Farani has made significant contributions to enhancing political trust, promoting exchanges of delegations at all levels, and connecting ministries, sectors, localities, businesses, and the people of both countries. He has also helped expand cooperation in fields such as economy, trade, agriculture, science and technology, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Giang affirmed that the Vietnam-Brazil relationship has continued to develop positively over time, deepening with vast potential for cooperation. In this process, the contributions of the Ambassador have played a crucial role in deepening the friendship, understanding, and trust between the two countries, creating a favourable foundation for bilateral relations to continue developing substantively and effectively in the future.
On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Deputy Minister Dang Hoang Giang expressed sincere gratitude for the Ambassador's valuable contributions. He expressed confidence that, in any position, the Ambassador will continue to hold a deep affection for Vietnam and its people, remaining a close friend and an active bridge promoting the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and Brazil.

Expressing his emotion and honour at receiving the Friendship Order, Ambassador Marco Farani sincerely thanked the President, the State leadership, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam for bestowing this prestigious award upon him.
The Ambassador affirmed that during his tenure in Vietnam, he always received effective cooperation and support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, various ministries, sectors, localities, and Vietnamese partners. He emphasized that the achievements attained are the result of joint efforts from both sides and committed to continuing his connection with Vietnam, supporting and contributing positively to the further deepening and effective development of Vietnam-Brazil relations for the benefit of the people of both nations.
