It was a momentous occasion celebrating their exceptional contribution to the industry.
The portfolios of the top developers are valued at 4.5 billion USD, while the portfolios of these elite architecture firms comprise 6.1 billion USD worth of properties scheduled to start construction in Vietnam this year. These firms were chosen based on the greatest aggregate value of projects under construction during the last full calendar year, weighted by the extent of their sustainability efforts. For architecture firms, pre-tender projects were included to recognise the early incorporation of sustainable efforts.
The top 10 developers in 2023 are BIM Land, a member of BIM Group; BRG Group; BW Industrial Development Joint Stock Company; Frasers Property Vietnam; Gamuda Land Vietnam; Indochina Kajima Development; KCN Vietnam; Nam Long Investment Corporation; TNG Realty Corporation; Vinhomes Joint Stock Company.
The top 10 architects in 2023 are Alinco Ltd; Baumschlager Eberle Architekten; CUBIC Architects JSC; GK Archi Company Ltd; HPA - BKV Design (Vietnam) Company Limited; HTT Group - Ho Thieu Tri Architect and Associates; Kume Design Asia Co Ltd; NDA - New Design Associates Limited (NDA Group); NQH Architects Co Ltd; PTW Vietnam Limited Company.
The event also showcased regional winners and merit recipients of Asia’s leading Green design competition FuturArc Prize and BCI Asia Interior Design Awards. Details will be made available on FuturArc and Construction Plus platforms for each competition respectively in the coming months.
FuturArc Prize (FAP) 2023, an international Green design competition for architecture professionals and students alike, was held from October 2022 to February 2023 with the theme of Cross-Generational Architecture.
The theme explored the rapid change of societal compositions throughout Asia, asking entrants to envision sustainable design solutions for future generations amidst ongoing climate and planetary challenges. The winners and merit recipients will be awarded in their respective countries across the BCI Asia Awards circuit with cash prizes, trophies, certificates and international publication on the FuturArc print magazine and online platforms.
BCI Interior Design Awards (IDA) 2023 calls for Interior Design projects with the theme of Human-Centred Interiors, awarding projects that showcase well-designed spaces that empower users to reside, engage and enrich their lives joyfully and meaningfully.
The awarded designs illustrate a deep understanding of the users’ psyche, behaviour, habits and preferences. The winners and merit recipients will be awarded in their respective countries across the BCI Asia Awards circuit with cash prizes, trophies, certificates and international publication on the Construction+ print magazine and online platforms.
