The 2nd session of the 16th National Assembly is conducted in a centralized format and divided into two phases: Phase 1 from October 17 to November 14; Phase 2 from November 20 to 21 (with a reserved closing on November 23). The session is expected to last 28 days, during which the National Assembly will convene on six Saturdays and one Sunday.

From November 15 to 19, the National Assembly will recess to allow its committees, the Government, and relevant agencies to absorb, revise, and finalize draft laws and resolutions.

In this session, the National Assembly plans to review and approve 43 legal documents and provide opinions on four draft laws. This effort aims to complete the legislative program, promptly concretizing the new policies, orientations, and requirements identified in the Central documents.

Simultaneously, the National Assembly will consider and decide on 10 key issues concerning socio-economic matters, the state budget, supreme oversight, and other matters within its jurisdiction.
