The flight was arranged with assistance from relevant Vietnamese agencies, the Vietnamese embassies in Kuwait, Qatar and Egypt and relevant agencies of the host countries.The passengers were pregnant women, children under 18, severe patients, and laid-off guest workers whose labor contracts had terminated or those without wages.
The Ambassadors and diplomatic officials of the Vietnamese embassies directly went to airports, assisting the citizens with necessary procedures before they boarded the plane.
Bamboo Airways strictly implemented security, safety and epidemiological measures during the flight to ensure passengers’ health and prevent the possible spread of the disease.
After the plane landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on June 16, all passengers and crew members underwent medical check-ups and were transferred to concentrated quarantine facilities according to regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.
