13 countries and territories to participate in the 'Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths' International Race 2022
Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee, Vietnam Administration of Forestry (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), Cuc Phuong National Park and New Race Joint Stock Company is going to jointly organize the annual International Race “Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths 2022” on the 3rd April.

The Race “Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths 2022” is held to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the name Ninh Binh (1822 - 2022) and the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of Ninh Binh province (April 1st, 1992 - 2022), and to congratulate the Nho Quan district for reaching the standards of new-style rural areas.
Through this event, Cuc Phuong National Park wishes to turn the Race into an impressive annual eco-tourism product in order to spread the message of conservation and sustainable development, worthy of the title “Asia’s Leading National Park” voted by the World Travel Awards for three consecutive years (2019, 2020, 2021).
At the same time, it aims to promote and introduce the beauty and attractiveness of the natural, historical and cultural values associated with Cuc Phuong National Park, thereby implementing the strategy of conservation and sustainable development of the first national park of Viet Nam.
With the theme “Green race for conservation and sustainable development”, the Race “Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths 2022” is going to be held on April 3, 2022, with 4 distinct distances, including 10 km, 25 km, 42 km, and 70 km (combined with SUP rowing on the Buoi River). The races go through the tropical rainforest on limestone terrain.
Mr. Pham Quoc Vinh, in charge of the communications for the Race, said that Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths 2022 attracted the participation of about 2,500 athletes. In particular, there are 20 athletes from 13 countries and territories, including France, Belgium, Taiwan (China), China, USA, South Korea, India, Australia, the Philippines, Germany, UK, Japan and Malaysia.”
According to Mr. Do Van Lap, Deputy Director of Cuc Phuong National Park, the Race is a genuinely professional activity, associated with innovation and creativity in the establishment and development of ecotourism in order to improve awareness of the Park’s nature conservation. This is also the most practical program to celebrate Cuc Phuong National Park’s 60 years of establishment and development.
Moreover, Mr. Dang Quang Duc, Director of New Race Joint Stock Company, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that the races organized by Race Jungle always aimed at the cultural and natural heritage of Viet Nam.
“We realize that this is an important channel to promote the values and beauty of Viet Nam to friends around the world," he said.
“When approved by the State agencies to organize the Race in the Cuc Phuong National Park, we were extremely honored and proud. This place is considered as the “Conservation Capital” of Viet Nam. With the efforts of the Organizing Committee, we believe that athletes will have an unforgettable experience on the green paths of Asia’s leading national park,” added Mr. Dang Quang Duc.
