Vinh Phuc: Building field hospital underway
Local authorities of Vinh Phuc, hit hardest by the epidemic, on Monday installed technical equipment in order to soon operate a field hospital for fear of a potential influx of nCoV cases.
The Department of Health said it has sufficient equipment and manpower to prepare for all situations.
Hai Duong: Minimizing hospital cross-infection
The local authorities of Hai Duong tasked medical clinics and establishments to categorize and early detect infected patients at designated reception points in order to mitigate hospital cross-infection.
Those suspected of contacting the virus shall be quickly quarantined.
HCMC: Field hospital officially operates
Ho Chi Minh City’s Military Command and Department of Health finalized construction of a field hospital to deal with patients contracting nCoV on February 10.
The Hospital of Tropical Diseases is charge of operating the field hospital in the first phase. Other hospitals of the city will also send doctors and nurses to the field hospital.
At present, 47 hospitals in the city are examining, screening, isolating, and treating nCoV patients.
