
Vietnamese, Japanese students connect through English camp in Phu Yen

Under the theme "Connect and Explore", the camp brought together 15 participants from Wakayama Shin-ai and 70 others from Phu Yen.
Taking place from March 6 to 9, it features a variety of cultural exchange activities, including visits to famous local landmarks, Vietnamese and Japanese culture introduction, traditional games, and cuisine. Participants will also engage with foreign teachers and attend a talk show on English learning experiences.
The camp will conclude with a Vietnam - Japan culture presentation competition, where teams will create posters and give presentations to compete for awards.
Dr. Tran Lang, Rector of the Phu Yen University, highlighted the growing partnership between the two institutions since 2023. He affirmed that both universities are committed to creating favourable conditions for their lecturers and students to engage in academic, cultural and experience exchanges, thus contributing to Vietnam - Japan relations.
At the opening ceremony, Prof. Tsuji Nobuyuki, representing the Japanese university, expressed his hope that students from both sides will enhance their learning skills and gain valuable experiences for their future careers. He also expected stronger solidarity between the two schools through more exchanges.
