At the 11th Bilateral Meeting between VCG and KCG, both sides have highly regarded the outcomes of their cooperation recently, as well as other various activities suach as high-level exchanges; ship visits, common exercise; training programs; exhibitions held by the KCG; mutual support for each other in multilateral forums; providing equipment…
These activities had been organized and implemented effectively, through online and direct manner, even during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Such activities further increased the cooperative relations, improved on both sides’ interactions, capabilities and experiences.
On this occasion, KCG representatives also visited and had a tour at the facilities and bases of the 1st Regional Command. The KCG delegation also arrived on-board of CSB-8003 ship. Transferred from KCG to VCG in 2012, this ship has demonstrated its effectiveness, greatly contributed to the work of law enforcement, sovereignty protection, search and rescue missions on the sea of VCG in general and 1st Regional Command specifically.
These were meaningful activities, as they further re-affirmed the mutual trust and understanding, created connections and bonds between Vietnam - RoK’s bilateral maritime law enforcement specifically and people-to-people in general.
