Next year, the country targets to raise the figure to 25.5 sq.m per person.

To that end, the ministry will study and complete the law system related to the management and development of housing and real estate market, and create an open and favourable business environment to attract investment for development.

The ministry will urge localities to implement Directive 11/CT-TTg dated April 23, 2019 of the Prime Minister on a number of solutions to promote stable and healthy development of the real estate market; and continue to closely monitor the market’s developments to propose solutions suitable to reality.

In the coming time, it will ask localities to step up the renovation and rebuilding of old apartment buildings to ensure safe accommodations for people and contribute to urban embellishment and civilised and modern urban construction.
