Six working groups established to accelerate public investment disbursement

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has decided to set up six working groups with an aim to accelerate disbursement of public investment capital.

These groups will be led by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, and Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc.

The groups will work with ministries, centrally-run agencies, cities and provinces where disbursement rate is below the country's average of 18.48 percent as of April 30.

They are responsible for summarizing and analyzing obstacles arising in the implementation of projects using State capital, ODA and concessional loans and putting forward measures to speed up disbursement of public investment capital.
