The move was made following the Government's latest meeting on COVID-19 pandemic.
Frequency and conditions for passenger transport shall be discussed and decided by competent authorities of the two countries.
PM Phuc stressed that the demand for entry into Vietnam of overseas Vietnamese people, foreign investors, experts, and students have remains high, thus the Government will try to satisfy the demand according to order of priority and domestic quarantine capacity.
The Government chief tasked the Ministry of Transport (MoT) to work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and Vietnam Airlines to repatriate Vietnamese nationals in Equatorial Guinea as soon as possible.
Quick COVID-19 tests and appropriate quarantine measures will be applied to different types of entrants, according to the announcement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in charge of collaborating with the Ministry of Transport and relevant agencies to discuss with competent authorities of foreign countries to increase the frequency of citizen repatriation flights and to resume commercial flights with other countries.
As of 6:30 am on Monday, Vietnam confirmed 372 COVID-19 patients, including 232 imported cases who were quarantined upon their arrivals.
The number of recovered cases rose to 350, accounting for 94.1%, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Thanks to successful containment of the pandemic, the nation has conducted 40 repatriation flights since April 21, bringing home 10,996 citizens who were stranded abroad due to COVID-19.
