During the meeting, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung highly appreciated the positive developments in the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in recent times, particularly the regular maintenance of high-level exchanges and contacts, the promotion of bilateral cooperation, and efforts by both sides to maximise existing achievements and continue to shape major mutually beneficial cooperation orientations across all fields.

Recognizing the efforts of the Ambassador and the Russian Embassy, the Prime Minister suggested the Ambassador to continue working closely with Vietnamese ministries, sectors, and agencies to effectively implement high-level agreements, deepening the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Expressing his honour to meet Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Ambassador Gennady Bezdetko congratulated the Prime Minister on being entrusted with the significant position; affirming that the Russian Federation always values the traditional friendship and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Vietnam, considering Vietnam one of its leading partners in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ambassador Gennady Bezdetko informed the Prime Minister of positive progress in bilateral cooperation in recent times, as well as the areas and contents where both sides have ample room for further promotion; affirming that Russia and the Ambassador himself are ready to closely coordinate with Vietnamese ministries, sectors, localities, and enterprises to concretize the cooperation directions agreed upon by the high-level leaders of both countries, promoting substantive cooperation in traditional fields as well as new areas, especially ensuring energy security, green transition, and science and technology.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and the Russian Ambassador discussed and agreed on directions and measures to promote bilateral cooperation across all fields, from political-diplomatic to economic-trade, energy-oil and gas, science-technology, education-training, culture, tourism... Both sides agreed to coordinate in organizing activities to commemorate the 35th anniversary of ASEAN-Russia relations.

The Prime Minister affirmed Vietnam's support for strengthening the ASEAN-Russia Strategic Partnership, promoting dialogue and substantive cooperation in areas of mutual interest such as economic-trade, energy, science and technology, education-training, connectivity, and addressing non-traditional security challenges, contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung extended his regards to Russian President V. Putin, Prime Minister M. Mishustin, and other Russian leaders; expressing gratitude for the warm sentiments and sincere congratulations that the Russian leaders and people have extended to the Party, State, and people of Vietnam, as well as to the Prime Minister himself.
