PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Spouse left Ha Noi this morning, beginning five-day visit to Japan and attend the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia at the invitation of Japanese PM Shinzo Abe.

He is accompanied by Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Economic Affairs Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, Deputy Minister of Defense Nguyen Chi Vinh, and Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Thanh.

The visit aims to affirm that Viet Nam attaches importance to enhancing and deepening the strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Japan in various fields, accelerating economic-trade and investment ties at central and local levels.

It also reflects the active role played by Viet Nam in the region as well as the consistent position of Viet Nam on globalization process.

PM Phuc is expected to deliver a keynote speech at the 23rd International Conference on the Future of Asia.
