The visits are made at the invitation of Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo and Myanmar’s President Htin Kyaw.

The Vietnamese Party leader is accompanied by Politburo members Pham Binh Minh, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister; Hoang Trung Hai, Secretary of Ha Noi municipal Party Committee; and Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of Party Central Committee and Chief of the PCC Office.

His entourage also includes PCC members Hoang Binh Quan, head of the Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations; Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development; Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Industry and Trade; Le Thanh Long, Minister of Justice; and other senior officials.
