The visit is among series of activities and events that the two countries organise to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Singapore. Most recently, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Spouse paid an official visit to Singapore in March, 2023. The visit brought about substantial outcomes. (Photo: Nguyen Hong) |
During the past year, Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Partnership has seen progressive development. In the first 6 moths of 2023, Singapore is the biggest investor of Vietnam, with 163 new projects worth over 3 billion USD. |
As scheduled, before the welcome ceremony, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong laid wreaths in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum. During the visit, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long will have separate meetings with Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Vo Van Thuong and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue. |
Right after the official welcome ceremony, Prime Minister Chinh holds talks with his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong and the two Prime Ministers witness the exchange of cooperation agreements between the two countries.
