The Ministry of Health on March 11 confirmed the 39th positive cases in Vietnam. |
The patient shows symptoms of mild fever at 37.6 degrees C, no cough, and no shortness of breath. He was admitted to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases No. 2 at 9 pm on March 8 and his sample was sent to the hospital for a COVID-19 test.
The patient is now in stable health condition and in isolation to undergo strict monitoring at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases No 2.
Earlier, the Department of Health in the south central province of Binh Thuan confirmed three more new cases of COVID-19 related to the 34th patient who returned to Vietnam from the US on February 29.
To date, Vietnam has recorded 39 cases of COVID-19 infection, of which 16 cases have been discharged from hospital after their full recovery.
