Music programme praises love for Hanoi of three celebrated musicians

Themed ‘Songs from the Heart’, Love for Hanoi will bring to the stage typical musical pieces of the three artists together with reportages recalling their lives and musical careers.

The 15th music programme entitled ‘Tinh Yeu Ha Noi’ (Love for Hanoi) will be held at the Hanoi Opera House on December 7, honouring three celebrated musicians: Le Viet Hoa, Thanh Phuc and Trong Dai.

The information was released at a press conference held in Hanoi on Decemebr 1 by the Hanoi Music Association.

The three musicians were winners of the State Awards on Literature and the Arts for their contributions to the development of Vietnamese music.

Themed ‘Songs from the Heart’, the programme will bring to the stage typical musical pieces of the three artists together with reportages recalling their lives and musical careers.

It will feature the beautiful voices of Meritorious Artists To Quyen, Mai Hoa, and Hoang Tung as well as well-known pop singers Trong Tan, Thanh Le, and Viet Danh.

The ‘Love for Hanoi’ programme has been held annually since 2006 by the Hanoi Music Association to honour its members who have won Ho Chi Minh Awards or the State Awards on Literature and the Arts.

It also aims to introduce the public to lovely songs about Hanoi and the beauty of the land and people of Vietnam.
