At the meeting, the two sides discussed cooperation opportunities between the Iranian Embassy and the World and Vietnam Report, especially in 2023 when Vietnam and Iran celebrate the 50 annivesary of establishing diplomatic relations (August 4, 1973-2023).
Highly appreciating the professionalism of the World & Vietnam Report, Ambassador Ali Akbar Nazari expressed his gratitude for the effective cooperation between the two sides in the past time.
Iranian Ambassador affirmed his desire to further boost cooperation and strengthen the friendship between Vietnam and Iran.
According to Ambassador Nazari, half a century is a long way, creating good opportunities for Vietnam and Iran to promote bilateral relations and realize the potential of cooperation in economy, trade, investment, culture, tourism, etc.
He hoped that the World & Vietnam Report would support in disseminating news on important events and activities going to be held by the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam as well as the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Iran diplomatic ties.
At the same time, Iranian Ambassador also suggested many contents that both Vietnamese and Iranian readers are interested in, such as football, tourism, food, etc., in order to enhance mutual understanding and people-to-people exchanges.

For his part, Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Truong Son introduced the agency's publications such as printed newspapers, online newspapers and other special publications.
Agreeing with Ambassador Nazari's suggestions on boosting information exchange, the Editor-in-Chief expressed his appreciation for the positive evaluations of the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam for the World & Vietnam Report.
He also affirmed the willingness to maintain effective information exchange with the Embassy of Iran in Vietnam, thereby contributing to promoting cultural exchanges, mutual understanding and economic relations between the people and business communities of the two countries.
With the motto "Bringing Vietnam to the world and bringing the world to Vietnam", the World & Vietnam Report will continue to work with the Iranian Embassy to further cultivate friendship between the peoples of the two countries, to bring Vietnamese readers closer to the Iran and bring Iranian readers closer to Vietnam, Editor-in-Chief Son said.
On this occasion, Ambassador Ali Akbar Nazari invited the World & Vietnam Report Board of Directors to visit the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam.
