Invest in Dak Lak: A land of great potentials.

Dak Lak has an important geo-economy and geopolitical position, located in the center of the Central Highlands region, with an area of 13,123 km2 – the 4th biggest in Vietnam, with nearly 370,000 hectares of basalt red soil.

In addition, the province has an abundant young labor force of about 1,100,000, of which trained workers are over 400,000. Dak Lak is also the province with the largest coffee area in the country with the Buon Ma Thuot coffee brand protected by geographical indications.

In 2019, the economy of Dak Lak province continues to grow sustainably, reaching 9.23% and exceeded the economic plan. Most industries and sectors have higher growth rates than the previous year. Total export turnover is estimated at 620 million USD, up 3.33% compared to 2018.

It is expected that in 2020, the income per capita of Dak Lak will reach 60-60.5 million VND, the GRDP stats will be 1.5-1.6 times higher than in 2015. The province competitiveness index (PCI) has also gone up by 2 places compared to 2018.

Plus, Dak Lak is also having a really strong startup movement, with a series of activities to help promote this incredible mindset of the youth, and helping newly established businesses. In 2019, there were about 1,050 new businesses, an increase of 4.6% compared to 2018, bringing the total number to more than 8,900 businesses operating in the province.

On the other hand, in 2019, Dak Lak attracted about 200 potential investors to explore the investment environment such as Vingroup, Nguyen Hoang Group, FLC Group, Sao Mai Group, etc. The province has attracted 55 projects with a total registered capital of about 13,000 billion VND (up 1.4 times compared to 2018).

Dak Lak still has a plan to boost investment attraction in key areas such as: regarding agriculture, the province aims to develop hi-tech agriculture on large-scale centralized production, building new rural areas and processing, preserving and consuming agro-forestry products. Regarding industry, the priority is given to processing agro-forestry-fishery products industries, renewable energy, developing supporting industries and serving agriculture.

Regarding tourism, the province focuses on attracting investment in building high-quality resort and ecotourism resorts, investing in 3-5 star hotels and especially its 19 19 historical, architectural and scenic destinations.

Regarding commercial services and education, Dak Lak concentrates on building and running supermarkets and shopping malls, as well as building modern and well-equipped schools with teachers with professional qualifications.
