The delegation was led by Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen.

The same day, the city’s leading officials and local residents paid tribute to late Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang.

A high-ranking delegation of the city offered incense and flowers at the Ben Duoc Monument for Heroic Martyrs in Cu Chi district.

Forty-seven years ago, April 30 went down to the nation's history as a brilliant milestone. The 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising, especially the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, liberated the South and reunified the nation.
