During the pilot programme, the centre will join the monitoring traffic system in the city; provide traffic information; offer support in handling traffic violations; and manage public transportation, traffic infrastructure, parking, and others.

Speaking at the inauguration, Director of the department Nguyen Phi Thuong said that the centre’s operation is a basic foundation for the city to develop a smart traffic system.
