Greetings on 61st anniversary of Viet Nam-Cuba diplomatic ties

Leaders of Viet Nam on December 2 extended their greetings to their Cuban counterparts on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two countries.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Nguyen Phu Trong and President Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent their greetings to First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and President of Cuba Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh cabled his greetings to his Cuban counterpart Manuel Marrero Cruz, while Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue congratulated President of the National Assembly of the People’s Power of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernández.

The same day, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son sent a congratulatory message to his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla.

Viet Nam and Cuba established diplomatic relations on December 2, 1960.
