According to the Commission for Foreign Relations of the Party Central Committee, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong will pay an official visit to the People's Republic of China from October 30 to November 2, 2022.

The visit is made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.
