Foreign Minister paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on 78th National Day

WVR - On the morning of August 31, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs delegation led by Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son laid wreath and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of September 2 (1945-2023).

On September 2, 78 years ago, at Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The delegation's wreath bears the words "Eternal gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh".

Joining the delegation were Deputy Foreign Ministers Ha Kim Ngoc, Le Thi Thu Hang, Do Hung Viet; Assistant Ministers and heads of Departments within the Ministry.

Later, the delegation offered incense and paid tribute to fallen soldiers at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son street near the President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. The delegation's wreath bears the words "Eternal gratitude to Heroes and Martyrs".
