The signing ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang, Head of the SCOV; Mr. Le Hong Ha, CEO of Vietnam Airlines; Mr. Nguyen Manh Dong, Deputy Head of the SCOV, along with representatives from various ministries, leaders from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the press.

During the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Dong, Deputy Head of the SCOV, affirmed that both parties have always collaborated closely and supported each other in activities concerning overseas Vietnamese.
The signing ceremony aims to enhance the coordination between the two parties, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the work related to overseas Vietnamese, in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 36, Directive 45, Conclusion No. 12 of the Politburo, and Resolution No. 169/NQ-CP of the Government on activities related to overseas Vietnamese in the new situation.
With this MoU, both parties aim to facilitate and create favorable conditions to demonstrate the care and responsibility of the Party and State towards the overseas Vietnamese community, increasingly making it easier for overseas Vietnamese to connect with their homeland and to promote the image of Vietnam Airlines to the Vietnamese community abroad.
Mr. Le Hong Ha, CEO of Vietnam Airlines, stated that the cooperation between the two sides reflects the correct policy of the Party and State towards the policies focusing on the overseas Vietnamese community.

Mr. Le Hong Ha commented: "Vietnam Airlines is proud to welcome Vietnamese from all over the world. We hope that after the signing, both sides will serve as a bridge to further connect the sentiments of the expatriates towards their homeland, and also as a bridge of friendship between Vietnam and other countries.
We commit to working alongside the Committee in various programs and events related to overseas Vietnamese, hoping for continued close, effective, and sustainable cooperation that brings tangible benefits to the expatriate community."
Regarding immediate plans, both parties agreed that Vietnam Airlines will support overseas Vietnamese delegates attending the 4th World Conference of Overseas Vietnamese scheduled from August 21-24 in Hanoi on international and domestic flights operated by the Corporation.
