Congratulations sent to new foreign minister of China

Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son on December 30 sent a letter of congratulations to Qin Gang on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.

In his letter, FM Bui Thanh Son stated that Qin Gang's assignment as Chinese Foreign Minister showed the trust and appreciation of the Chinese Party and State for his significant contributions to China's external affairs sector.

Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasized that the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ready to work with the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to thoroughly realize the common perception at the high level, especially the outcomes of the official visit to China by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong recently; making the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership between Vietnam and China deeper, more substantive and effective, for the benefit of the two peoples as well as peace, stability and cooperation in the region and in the world.
