​At the invitation of the Leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam, Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Cuban People's Power Esteban Lazo Hernandez will visit Vietnam and represent the Leaders of the Party and State of Cuba to attend the ceremony to commemorate 50 years since Cuban leader Fidel Castro visited the Liberated zone in southern Vietnam (1973 -2023) from 24th - 28th September, according to an announcement of the Vietnamese National Assembly's Committee for Foreign Affairs on September 22, 2023.
