The APEC Photo Contest 2017 has announced its winners at the Senior Officials’ Meeting on November 7 in the central city of Da Nang.
The first prize was awarded to the photo “Sunset Life” by Tinh Than from Vietnam while “The Sea Flower” by Huong Vinh and “Building the Flower Industry” by Tran Dinh Thuong, both also from the host, received second and third prizes, respectively.
Other prizes include The Popular Choice Award belonged to “Up and Forward” by Yu-Han Kung from the Republic of Korea and Influencer Award went to “Harvest Time” by Oki Arisandi from Indonesia.
Under the theme “Trade for All”, the photo contest was open to amateur and professional photographers from the 21 APEC member economies. It closed on September 29 and received more than 2,600 photos submitted this year. Held since 2011, the APEC Photo Contest seeks to raise awareness about APEC’s mission, achievements, and benefits.
