Tran Minh Nghia, Captain of fishing boat BT 99234 TS, said his boat was operating in the sea when fishermen on the boat spotted the man.

They took him onboard, brought him to the shore and reported to Cua Dai Border Guard Station.

After receiving the case, the station sent military medical staff to provide medical check and care to the foreigner, who said he is a Myanmar citizen.

The man's health now is in stable condition. The Border Station continues to coordinate with functional forces to verify information and complete procedures on the case in line with regulations.
