Senior representatives from the French Consulate General attended the welcome ceremony, the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - France diplomatic relations.

The new aircraft was delivered on the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-France Strategic Partnership. It was also used to celebrate the success of the Francophonie Summit in Paris, which gathered representatives from nearly 100 member countries. More especially, it’s right after Vietnam’s Party General Secretary and State President To Lam and French President Emmanuel Macron agreed to elevate the Vietnam - France relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The new Vietjet aircraft bearing the image symbolizes the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - France diplomatic relations. On October 7, the new aircraft was officially handed over to Vietjet by Airbus at Orly Airport (Paris), under the witness of Party General Secretary and President To Lam.
