The Vietnamese Minister highlighted the fruitful development of the Vietnam – US relationship, especially the upgrade of the bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership on the occasion of the visit to Vietnam by US President Joe Biden.
Economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Vietnam and the US continues to be a bright spot, serving as a crucial pillar and main motivation for advancing the bilateral relations, he said.
The Minister suggested the ITI, as a reputable and influential organisation in the US, continue to enhance its role as a bridge between the two countries' Governments and businesses, thus further promoting economic, trade, and investment cooperation, particularly investment by top IT firms of the US in Vietnam.
ITI President Jason Oxman said the agency looks to gain deeper insights into Vietnam's investment environment and policies, thus expanding economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The Council hopes that the Vietnamese government in general and the Ministry of Public Security in particular will continue to pay attention to and create favourable conditions for US enterprises to make long-term investments in Vietnam, he said.
