Vietnam-United Nations cooperative relations

Over the past 45 years (September 1977-September 2024), the cooperation between Vietnam and the United Nations has yielded positive results, fulfilling both Vietnam’s needs and interests at various stages, while enhancing Vietnam’s role, voice, and contributions to the United Nations.

These achievements have paved the way for future joint efforts between Vietnam and the United Nations to address remaining challenges, further expand and improve the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation. This will also actively faciliate Vietnam's national development and international integration, while enhancing the role of the United Nations in the new era.
