US Secretary of Defense to visit Vietnam at convenient time
US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper is expected to visit Vietnam at a convenient time at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Ngo Xuan Lich, according to Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang.

Vietnam and the US have sustained growth in bilateral defense ties in accordance with the existing cooperative mechanisms and the framework of the comprehensive partnership, Hang said.
Regarding the recent tragic road accidents in the United Arab Emirates, Hang said no Vietnamese have been reported dead in the incident.
The accident occurred on Sheikh Zayed Road near World Trade Centre tunnel exit towards Abu Dhabi from Dubai.
