Both of them are students returning from Japan, the ministry said.
The pair landed in Van Don airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh on April 22 and were immediately taken to a centralized quarantine camp in Thai Binh Province.
One of them is a 23-year old man and the other is a 22-year old woman from Bac Giang Province’s Viet Yen and Yen Dung Districts respectively.
They are being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.
So far, as many as 68,890 people have been medically monitored, including 352 at hospitals, 17,832 at centralized camps and 50,706 at places of residence.
