In 2019, the GRDP growth rate has increased by 8.05% compared to 2018; GRDP per capita at current prices reaches VND 39 million/person/year; State budget revenues in the province reached VND 2,106 billion. Industrial production value reached VND 15,660 billion, while the industrial development index was 110%. The value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production reached VND 8,407.5 billion, an increase of 4% compared to 2018. The export value of goods in 2019 reached USD 104.1 million.

Businesses prosper, Lao Cai develops

Up to now, there are 1,779 enterprises and economic units under state-owned companies in Tuyen Quang province with the registered capital of VND 18,356.44 billion. This is also a place where a number of large investors have chosen to invest in important projects such as Geleximco Group, Vingroup, Dabaco, Muong Thanh, Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, Woodsland ... contributing to socio-economic development.

In addition, 15 FDI projects of 13 foreign investors with a total registered capital of 202,611 million USD (4,359 billion VND) are being deployed in the province, creating jobs for 7,067 laborers, contributing to restructuring economic structure, promoting growth, improving people's lives.
